Change

So it's been a while since I last wrote. And many things have changed, but in a way it's all still the same. I last wrote about incertitude and hope in the situation we were living, with Covid-19. Months have passed and well, we are now in a third lockdown. A third lockdown that doesn't really seem like it as we continue to enjoy the London streets, somehow.

Incertitude it's still present in our lives until today, and it will be until a long time I think. So It's okay to feel uncertain and confused. Because we all are.

I could write for hours about how sad it makes me to see how this pandemic is affecting our world, people, businesses and lives. I could also write about all the unfair crimes happening in our world every day that somehow we just don't put an end to it. Still, somehow I'd always rather stay hopeful, because the same way that I think we could all be doing much more that we are doing now for this planet, for this society and its people, the same way I see that more awareness is being brought in some of these matters than before.

It makes me happy to see that some people are trying to make a change even if it's by sharing an Instagram post relating a matter that needs change, because these people are still creating awareness by just doing that. And I think we should all do it more, including me. Because if we all started sharing what's really happening every day everywhere in the world, I believe we could all make a change somehow eventually. We have seen the power of people bringing awareness on some of these matters in Social Media during the first lockdown of Covid-19. People used the Internet and Social Networks to connect with other people more than ever, but also, they used it to share sad truths that need to be ended and that many people would normally choose to ignore during their ordinary life.

I think people protesting and uniting themselves through the Internet and SM is incredibly powerful, more that we would ever think. If we all really united ourselves and try to make a difference, it would be like a Social Revolution to end with all matters that are bringing down our society, world, and people.

While we are still battling this virus, it seems like now this situation will hopefully improve soon. And while we make sure to socialise with each other when this is over, I'd also love to see us people making a change in our world. And I know there's so many things to change, and that we can not change them all by ourselves, but by changing small things in our life that will make an improvement to this planet, that's already something, and if we all at least chose a matter or two that needs to be improved or ended and we gave a bit of our time to it, I really believe things would be different. And while I have already started making changes in my life that make a difference, I still research and know that there's still so much more that can be done. But step by step I think we all can contribute a bit every day. And I think we can do much better can we?

Leaving with a lot of thoughts, but happy to share them,

Anaïs
